How do I create a certificate template?

Create a Google Slides presentation and design your certificate. Add placeholders like {{name}}, {{score}}, and {{date}} as text in your slides. CertifyAll will replace these with actual values when generating certificates.

What happens if a student fails the quiz?

Students who score below your passing threshold receive an encouraging email with their score and a prompt to try again. No certificate is generated. This email does not count toward your monthly limit.

Where are my certificates saved?

All generated certificates are saved as PDFs in a folder called "CertifyAll Certificates" in your Google Drive. They are also emailed directly to the respondent.

What are the available placeholders?

Built-in placeholders that are filled automatically:

• {{email}} — respondent's email address
• {{date}} — certificate issue date
• {{score}} — quiz score
• {{total}} — total possible points
• {{percentage}} — score as a percentage
• {{form_title}} — your form's title
• {{timestamp}} — submission date and time

You can also add any custom placeholder (e.g. {{company}}) and map it to a form field in the setup wizard.

What does the free plan include?

The free plan includes 20 certificates per month with automatic PDF generation, email delivery, and Drive backup. Certificates on the free plan include a small CertifyAll watermark. Upgrade to Pro ($5.99/month) for unlimited certificates and no watermark.

How do I upgrade to Pro?

Open the CertifyAll sidebar in your Google Form, click "Upgrade", complete the purchase, and paste your license key. Pro features activate instantly.

Can I cancel my Pro subscription?

Yes, anytime. Cancel through your Polar account. Your Pro features remain active until the end of the current billing period, then you revert to the free plan. Certificates already generated are not affected.

Do students need to create an account?

No. Students simply submit your Google Form. They receive their certificate by email automatically. No sign-up, no account, no app installation required.

I need to collect email addresses to send certificates. How?

In your Google Form, go to Settings and turn on "Collect email addresses." CertifyAll uses this email to send the certificate. Alternatively, you can add a question that asks for an email — CertifyAll will detect it automatically.
